We teach effective self-defence while developing a strong and confident character that commands respect. It is not about aggression or intimidation.
We offer authentic martial arts training for children, teenagers and adults at all levels based on proven Japanese principles, practical self-defence and lifelong personal development

JuJitsu is one of Japan's oldest and most respected martial arts. It was designed to complement a Samurai's weapons training when fighting at close quarters.
Often translated as "The Gentle Art", Ju Jitsu teaches timing, leverage and technique to overcome larger and stronger opponents.
As a complete system of combat, Ju Jitsu incorporates striking, grappling, throws, joint locks, ground fighting, weapons and multiple attackers. It is likely the most comprehensive and effective self-defence system available today.
Our curriculum has a strong focus on bladed weapons, it is not a sport - it is survival.

Street Ju Jitsu follows traditional Japanese martial arts principles where character development comes before rank.
